Updated Reading List

CS Lewis’ classic “Miracles”

My wife and I are reading this together.  I love the way Yancey looks at the world and examines it in the light of God’s worldview.  If you want to learn how to grapple with questions about the world – you could not do much better than to read a Philip Yancey book.

Great light reading for the bus.  Not always great biblical exegesis and at times a bit over-hyped, me-focussed American fare but the central thesis is a breath of fresh air.

I have set myself a task of reading the great Russian novelists.  This is my latest attempt in this area.  So far a great read.

Reading this through now for the 2nd time with my reading group.  Check the blog posts for a chapter by chapter review and discussion.

One of those books I have wanted to read for years now.  Finally I see what all the noise is about.  So far – brilliant.  Read it now – don’t be like me!
