Barry Webb on Holy War

I had the great pleasure of spending the last few days at the Bible Teachers Conference listening to Barry Webb, from Moore Theological College in Sydney teach us from the book of Judges, and teach us how to teach the book of Judges. Barry’s talks were a great mix of theological and exegetical rigour and pastoral sensitivity. Some of our preaching frameworks were stretched and challenged… but that is always a good thing.

Unfortunately the talks are not available to post (hopefully I will post some of my notes in the next few days) but one of the talks he did was from a lecture which is available online. Barry explored the very tough subject of the holy war in Judges and did an excellent job. Well worth a read!

  1. Hey John,

I’d love to read the PDF as Barry’s book on Judges is now out of print.
Unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to download the PDF. Could you maybe email it to me???

    Cheers

  2. Steve, My book on Judges has been republished by Wipf and Stock, and can be purchased from them or through Moore Books, Sydney.
