Some wanderings around the net

Here are some interesting things around the interesting and murky world of the internet. They are of differing value and worth…

I have not listened to any of these but here are some audio downloads with Don Carson and Micheal Horton talking about Galatians and Justification. Must be worth a listen.

Here are some lessons from church planters by JR Woodward, part 1 and 2. Here is Drew Goodmanson’s: Advice to a Church Planter. Tim Chester gets in on the advice with “If you wanted to start a church”.

I have been checking out Soma Communities and their concept of “missional communites”. Here is some great audio to download (have not listened to it all yet). Also check out Micheal Foster’s blog.

Do Emergent Churches have fruit/converts?

Human depravity at its worst – child trafficking in Burma.

Church Planting Novice tells us: Why We Are Not Starting New Ministries.

Finally perhaps we really are not alone out there… but why would they visit the UK of all places?

  1. Here is another “interesting thing” on the net… or at least I hope you and your readers will find it interesting.

I am a christian webmaster who is trying to mix business and ministry and I have created an auction site that offers churches free unlimited listings that they can use for fundraising purposes.

I am looking for some interested parties and some feedback on my ministry.

    Thanks, John

  2. Somehow i missed the point. Probably lost in translation 🙂 Anyway … nice blog to visit.

    cheers, Vesicant.
